Any grandchild or great grandchild of Lucille and Clarence Wolven, including step-children are eligible for a one-time $500 educational grant from the Wolven Educational Fund. The potential recipient must demonstrate a need that the money will be used to further their education. It can be used for college, trade school, or GED and can be used to pay towards tuition, fees, books, computer, or other educational purpose. The money will be distributed directly to the school, or if that is not possible, then reimbursement will be made to the recipient by having the recipient submit copies of receipts or other documents that supports funds used for educational purposes.

The candidate should send a letter or email to Uncle Kenny (kwolven@comcast.net) requesting the money and explaining the educational purpose and need. Uncle Kenny will contact the other aunts and uncles and get majority approval. Once approved he will send a check to the appropriate institution for the benefit of the person.

The purchase of a car or other transportation is not an eligible expense.
